Planning for summer break or an upcoming Pro-D Day? BGC offers day camps at our Clubs all across the Lower Mainland! Our day camps are available for Club members and non-members as well. At BGC day camps, kids and youth participate in games, arts and crafts, sports, and SO much more under the supervision of our trained staff. To support BGC for Pink Shirt Day, our #BGCBesties at Arete Safety and Protection Inc provided their anti-bullying training to all 11 of our Clubs!
Safety with Sam is an online training program created by youth for youth with the goal of helping youth to speak out, find their voices, and create safer spaces. This training was given to BGC’s amazing pre-teens and teens as a specialized workshop during Pink Shirt Week.
We are so grateful for this support, and to have programs like Safety with Sam to help prevent bullying in our communities and our Clubs.

Today we are flashing back to our Youth of the Year celebration at our very own Kimount Club! Youth of the Year is BGC Canada’s national initiative to recognize and celebrate exceptional youth who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and achievements within their communities. In 2023, our Kimount Club was home to TWO Youths who received this title. Now that’s something to be proud of! #OpportunityChangesEverything @BGCCan
