In 2012, BGC introduced the Champions Club, designed to recruit a Champion (individual / family / foundation / company) for each one of our 10 neighbourhood-based Clubs for a 5-year period (renewable). For the Champion, this is an opportunity to connect your philanthropy with a passion for kids. For the Club, this assists to both stabilize revenue and seed growth.
Our AMAZING Champions pledge $50,000 per year over the next five years ($250,000 in total), with the option of selecting a specific program or Club to align with (available Club locations: Tsawwassen, North Delta, Surrey, North Vancouver).
This commitment creates the following impact:
- Supports the sustainability of the Club, and our commitment to be there for kids over the long term
- Inspires other private and community support to further BGC’s work
- Seeding future growth and expansion plans (extended hours, increased service, and even new Clubs!)
We often say that at BGC, our deliverables come in human form. We appreciate that a 5-year financial commitment to a non-profit is something that only a handful of individuals are prepared to do. BGC is committed to honour that by offering a “made for you” plan to report back on the impact of your support, and to offer you a meaningful and personalized way to engage with BGC.
