Say Say was only in first grade when his family came to Canada in 2007, where things were a little different than they were back home in Thailand. He was faced with new people, a new language, and of course, snow! It was overwhelming for him, but as he faced all these unknowns, BGC was there.
Our Langley Club opened its doors to Say Say and his family. And, like a lot of BGC kids, Say Say started coming to Club every single day. He made friends, he practiced his English and he started to feel like he belonged. Now, over a decade later, Say Say is a staff member at that very same Club, helping kids like him find their way in the world.
